MY FIRST HOLIDAY IN KOTA KINABALU

 This is the second day of my holiday in Kota Kinabalu. A large city on the coast with beautiful islands nearby. Very different from what we expected, this city is quite modern and everything can be found here! From big shopping malls with big brands to local markets. Kota Kinabalu is a good place to spend a couple of days before exploring the rest of Sabah in Malaysia.

Yesterday, we visited Pulau Manatik. We found this island the most beautiful and it is also the smallest island, clear water and lots of coral. Today,we're going to Masjid Bandaraya mosque. The Masjid Bandaraya mosque is surrounded by water. As a result, the building, which is very beautiful in itself, sometimes seems to float. A beautiful view!

At the edge of the centre, we found Signal Hill. There are beautiful houses on this hill. This is also a good location to view the city, harbour and surrounding islands from a distance. An observation platform has been built where we enjoy the view of Kota Kinabalu.


We've still got lots of things to do!We haven't been to yet.I hope we'll have time to go there tomorrow because it's our last day.

MY FIRST HOLIDAY IN THE LAND OF THE HORNBILLS

This is the second day of my holiday in Sarawak! I've never been here before, so I'm really excited on this holiday!  Yesterday we went to see the   famous Orang-utans at the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. During our visit, the sanctuary ranger was feeding them. They ate a lot of bananas and watermelons. It was fun seeing them and I thought they were a bit scary, but at the same time they were a bit cute too. We also went to the Sarawak River Cruise. It took 31 minutes from Semenngoh Wildlife Centre. We watched the sunset along the ride and it was really fun! We also took photos for memories. Today we’re going to Sarawak Cultural Village, a village that shows the culture of the different ethnic group. We came here by a car that we rent, but we got a bit loss. The village is very beautiful, and there a lot of flora! We've still got lots of things to do! We haven't been to Bako National Park or the Cat Musuem yet.
